Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Ability to function independently, plan (pro-active) and work in a team. Ability to adhere to safety standards. Ability to handle conflict and problem-solving situations. Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written.
 
Inherent requirements of the job:
Able to do hard manual labour in extreme weather conditions. Valid motor vehicle driver’s license (Code B). Willingness to work overtime and standby duties. Willingness to extent assistance to EMS; FPS; Clinics in Laingsburg and Matjiesfontein.

Experience:
Appropriate knowledge of hospital plant, laundry equipment and machinery.
 
Duties (Key result areas/outputs):
Assist with minor maintenance and repairs with regard to Electrical, Mechanical, Plumping, Building and Infrastructure projects. Ensure an organised and neat workshop / office space. Assist with Job Requisitions & basic Aadministrative duties and functions. Ensure that all tools and materials are available before commencing. Support to Supervisor.

Remuneration:
R 155 148 per annum - R 182 757 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
