Administration Clerk: Human Resource Management (PILIR Office)

Experience:
Appropriate experience in Human Resource Management. Appropriate experience regarding the PERSAL salary system. Appropriate experience regarding the Pilir process and administration.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Good communication skills (written and verbal). Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Basic understanding of Human Resource Management. Knowledge and experience of PERSAL and their relevant functions.

Duties (Key result areas/outputs):
Receive, check and capture all sick leave applications. Handle telephone and walk-in enquiries. Hand out and receive all Pilir applications. Process and capture long and short Pilir applications. Send Pilir applications to the Health Risk Manager. Make print outs and check/compare with Z1’s on staff files. Check to see if Medical certificates are correctly completed. Capture incapacity leave and ill-health retirement on Excel database. Send Pilir documents for provisional approval to Head of Department. Filing of all documents. Ad hoc tasks as requested by Supervisors.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
 
Note:
Shortlisted candidates may be subjected to a practical assessment.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 216 417 per annum - R 254 928 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
