| Appropriate cleaning experience in a health environment. |

| General cleaning and maintenance (sweeping, scrubbing, refuse removal, dusting, mopping, polishing, cleaning clinic grounds, cleaning of windows and walls). Effective and efficient utilization and storage of cleaning material and equipment. Adhering to safety precautions and ensure adherence to occupational health and safety policies. Maintain a high standard of neatness and hygiene in the facility. Provide optimal support to the supervisor and colleagues with general housekeeping duties and services. Adhere to general hygienic and safe environment in terms of standards and procedures. |

| Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Knowledge of the correct methods of handling and disposal of refuse/waste products and to adhere to policies and cleaning procedures. Knowledge of legislation and policies of the Department of Health and Wellness relevant to cleaning practice. Ability to operate machinery and equipment used in domestic and clinic cleaning services. |
