Administrative Officer: Human Resource Development

Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Advanced knowledge of Human Resource Development systems, practices of the skills development legislative framework. Knowledge and experience of budgetary aspects, as well as project management skills. Computer literacy in MS Office.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in Human Resource Development and Training. Appropriate experience in recruitment & selection processes.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
Grade 12 certificate (or equivalent).
 
Duties (Key result areas/outputs):
Manage and co-ordinate skills and training interventions. Plan, develop, co-ordinate, monitor and evaluate the implementation of the hospital Workplace Skills Plan and submission of all frequent HRD compliance reports. Co-ordinate and monitor 1% skills budget, supply chain management and expenditure process within PFMA prescripts. Plan and co-ordinate staff wellness activities. Manage and supervise human and physical resources. Handling of all recruitment and selection processes.

Note:

The pool of applicants will be considered for other similar vacant posts within the Chief Directorate: Metro Health Services, for a period of 3 months from date of advert.
 
Inherent requirements of the job:
Valid driver’s licence.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 325,101 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
