Administration Clerk: Supply Chain Management (Warehousing)

Experience:
Appropriate experience in a Supply Chain as a Warehouse Clerk. Appropriate experience in the LOGIS System and Functional experience of Warehousing functions.

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Perform Warehousing Management function and LOGIS System functions pertaining to Warehousing. Perform Inventory Stock Management. Responsible for Administration of consumables and receipt and issue of all consumable stock. Oversee the Store Assistants and their function and general Store Management. Provide support to Manager and assist with ADHOC duties within SCM. Complete & submit Monthly Reporting and handle queries to & from supplier and end-users.
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Practical Knowledge of Logis and Store Management. Willingness to work overtime when needed. Willingness to rotate & relieve colleagues within Supply Chain Section.
 
Minimum educational qualifications:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRA’s) of the post.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Sound knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act, National and Provincial Treasury Instructions and the Accounting Officer System. Ability to work independently and part as a team. Ensure compliance to all relevant laws & prescripts related to Supply Chain Management. Ability to prepare and analyse figures and amounts. Computer literacy (MS Excel and Word). Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 173 703- R 204 612 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
