Appropriate qualification that allows registration with Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as Clinical Psychologist. |

Comprehensive knowledge of clinical psychology in general. Comprehensive knowledge of the Mental Health Care Act 17 of 2002 and ethos of the Professional Board of Psychology. |

Grade 1: None after registration with the HPCSA as Psychologist in respect of RSA qualified employees. One year relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as Psychologist in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform Community Service, as required in South Africa. Grade 2: Minimum of 8 years relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as Psychologist in respect of RSA qualified employees. Minimum of 9 years relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as Psychologist in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform Community Service, as required in South Africa. Grade 3: Minimum of 16 years relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as Psychologist in respect of RSA qualified employees. Minimum of 17 years relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as Psychologist in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform Community Service, as required in South Africa. |

|
Render clinical psychology services to patients presenting with psychiatric conditions and co-morbid psychological difficulties. Perform clinical assessments, diagnostic formulations and provide appropriate treatment interventions and/or referral to internal and external agencies. Execute psychometric and neuropsychological assessments. Assist intern clinical psychologist supervision. Perform relevant administrative tasks. Participate in the Psychology Department meetings. |

Valid (Code B/EB) driver's licence. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Computer literate. |

Remuneration:
|
Grade 1: R 545 442 - R 598 314 per annum, Grade 2: R 634 191 - R 702 882 per annum, Grade 3: R 734 280 - R 863 529 per annum A portion of the package can be structured according to the individual's personal needs.
