| Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as Clinical Technologist in Neurophysiology. |

| Candidates who are not in possession of the stipulated registration requirements may also apply. | Excellent team player Excellent interpersonal, administrative, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced Knowledge in Neurophysiology, including objective electrophysiological diagnostic assessment in EEG, NCS, LTM, Evoke potentials (BAER/VEP/ERG) and Sleep investigations. |

| Grade 1: None after registration with the HPCSA as a Clinical Technologist in Neurophysiology respect of RSA qualified employees. 1-year relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as a Clinical Technologist in Neurophysiology in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform Community Service, as required in South Africa. Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as a Clinical Technologist in Neurophysiology in respect of SA qualified employees. A Minimum of 11 years’ relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as a Clinical Technologist in Neurophysiology in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform Community Service, as required in South Africa. |

| Perform various quality diagnostic procedures e.g. awake EEG, sleep EEG, awake/sleep EEG, day telemetry and Nerve conduction studies, electroretinograms, visual evoked potentials and auditory brainstem evoked response on in patients and outpatients. Providing accurate interpretation and reporting of neurodiagnostic procedures. Operate equipment and to ensure the correct function thereof as well as to trouble shoot. Liaise and collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team, to support the delivery of best practice for patient care. Management of all resources which included Assisting with maintenance of equipment. Provide Professional education and training to staff. Contribute and involvement with relevant research within the department. |

Remuneration:

Grade 1: R 397,233 per annum, Grade 2: R 463,941 per annum, Grade 3: R 543,099 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
