Senior Administrative Officer: HRD (People Development)

Minimum educational qualification:
Appropriate 3-year National Diploma /Degree in Human Resource related field.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in a supervisory capacity. Appropriate experience in Human Resource Development.
 
Competencies (knowledge/ skills):
Good interpersonal skills. Good presentation skills. Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Ability to function in a stressful environment and cope with a heavy workload. Leadership capabilities, managerial and organisation skills. Appropriate planning and administration skills. Ability to analyse, interpret and apply legislation, policies and prescripts.
 
Duties (Key result areas/outputs):
Management of CET, Internship, Volunteers and Workplace Integrated Learning. Manage Bursary administration. Orientation/re-orientation of new/existing staff. Implementing the Workplace Skills Plan and report on training activities. Supervision of staff. Facilitation of training. Financial Management and appropriate utilization of training budget. Effective management and development of staff.

Inherent requirements of the job:
Valid code B/EB driver’s license. Willingness to travel.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 397 116 - R 467 790 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
