| A minimum of 8 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing. At least 3 years of the period referred to above must be appropriate/recognisable experience at management level. |

| Management of service delivery in the specialized TB Hospitals (Brooklyn Chest &DP Marais Hospital). Resource Management of the nursing department. Control and monitor resources and consumables. Ensure a well-managed and capacitated work force by determining staff development needs and co-ordinate staff development in collaboration with Human Resource component. Improved Quality of Care. Support the Deputy Manager: Nursing, with strategic and operational management functions. |
