Administration Clerk: Information Management

Experience:
Appropriate experience in Health Information Management and in Health-Related Information Systems.
 
Duties (Key result areas/outputs):
Data management - submission and capturing. Assist with data quality monitoring, maintenance, and resolution – validation, verification, and data/trend analysis. Perform an office administration role - i.e., minute taking, filing, copies and logistical arrangements & assist with preparing presentations and reports. Provide general support to all Information Management and HAST clerks at facility level. Assist with internal and external objective audits. Assist with Information Communication technology requests.
 
Competencies (knowledge/ skills):
Knowledge with regards departmental information systems and advance computer skills in MS Office. Ability to interpret, analyze and present health information. Good numerical, communication, analytical thinking skills and interpersonal skills.

Minimum Requirement:
Senior Certificate or Equivalent.
 
Note:
The pool of applicants will be considered for other similar vacant Administration Clerk: Information Management posts within the Chief Directorate: Metro Health Services, for a period of 3 months from the date of advert. Candidates will be subjected to a practical/written and oral assessment.
 
Inherent requirements of the job:
Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s license. Willingness to work after hours.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 228 321 - R 268 950 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
