| Appropriate experience working as a Carer in a Healthcare setting. |

| Assist with the basic needs of patients. Assist nursing with admission and discharge of patients. Maintain a Professional and Healthy work environment. Assist with administrative duties. |

| General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)/Grade 9 (Std 7) Home Based Care/Ancillary Health Certificate (AHC) (6 months accredited course). |

| Good interpersonal relations with supervisors, colleagues, and the public. Ability to function in a group. Ability to lift patients and stand for long hours. |

| No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post. Candidates will be subjected to a practical/written and oral assessment. The pool of applicants will be considered for other similar vacant posts within the Chief Directorate: Metro Health Services, for a period of 3 months from date of advert. |
