Inherent requirements of the job:
Ability to function in a team. Effective communication skills. Rendering care of an acceptable and safe standard. Must be willing to be trained to be able to relieve in other sections across the hospitals. You must be between ages of 18 – 35 years old. Have a Homebased Care Certificate.
 
Competencies (knowledge/ skills):
Good communication skills (both written and verbal). Self- discipline and motivation.

Minimum educational qualification:
NQF Level 2 or equivalent to a SETA Qualification that allows registration with the Department of Social Services.
 
Duties (Key result areas/outputs):
To be trained on the following: Assist patients with activities of daily living (physical care). Develop and implementation of basic patient care plans. To provide elementary support to the health Team Effective utilization of resources. Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and self-development. Participate in infection prevention and control.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 57 288 per annum
