Administrative Officer: Supply Chain Management (Contract Management/ Transport)

Experience:
Appropriate experience in Support service, Supply chain management, reporting and transport management and Contract Management.
 
Competencies (knowledge/ skills):
Computer literacy and thorough knowledge of computer systems (LOGIS, BAS, and MS Office). Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), National and Provincial Treasury Regulations, Departmental delegations, AO System and financial reporting. The ability to interpret and apply financial policies, procedures and prescripts. Knowledge of GMT prescripts and policies.

Note:
No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post. The pool of applicants will be considered for similar vacant within the Chief Directorate: Metro District Health Services for a period of 3 months from date of advert. Candidates may be subjected to a pre-entry test/practical assessment and formal interview.
 
Duties (Key result areas/outputs):
Responsible for effective support service of supply chain management, contract management and transport services with the Khayelitsa/Eastern Sub-structure, including Hospitals. Ensure timeous and accurate reporting of financial transactions pertaining to accounting and supply chain management including transport and contract management reporting. Effective supervision on GG fleet vehicles and maintenance within Sub-structure. Assist with the procurement of goods and services on behalf of the Sub-Structure Office. Supervision and support services within the component, including the Human Resource Management (HRM) function, discipline, and grievances.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRA’s) of the post.
 
Inherent requirements of the job:
Valid (Code B/EB) drivers’ licence.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 325 101 - R 382 959 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
