Grade 1: None after registration as with the HPCSA as a Psychologist in respect of RSA qualified employees. 1 Year relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as a Psychologist in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform Community Service, as required in South Africa. Grade 2: A minimum of 8 years relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as Psychologist in respect of RSA qualified employees. Minimum of 9 years relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as Psychologist in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform Community Service, as required in South Africa. Grade 3: A minimum of 16 years relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as Psychologist in respect of RSA qualified employees. A minimum of 17 years relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as Psychologist in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform Community Service, as required in South Africa. |

Knowledge and/or experience in counselling, psychometric assessments, and identification of mental health challenges. Work within your professional scope of practice and know when to refer for more specialized mental health interventions, must be abreast of the Mental Health Care Act and other laws and policies pertaining to the field and have a sound knowledge of professional ethics. Computer literacy (i.e., MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel). Good intra- and interpersonal skills aimed at professional relational development, maintenance of good professional relations and effective conflict resolution. Adaptable and innovative in a high-pressured environment and to work independently and in different clinical settings. |

Provide high-quality clinical psychological services, including assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions for individuals, groups and families. Ensure the delivery of comprehensive mental health care covering treatment, prevention, promotion and protection for mental health care users and vulnerable groups, while upholding professional and ethical standards. Establishing referral pathways, managing referrals, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and other stakeholders. Contribute toward rounds and programs, participate in service planning and evaluation, and provide supervision, mentoring, and training to health workers, Registered Counsellors, and junior doctors. |

Remuneration:
|
Grade 1: R 872 709 - R 957 300 per annum, Grade 1: R 1 014 705 - R 1 124 517 per annum, Grade 3: R 1 174 848 - R 1 381 647 per annum A portion of the package can be structured according to the individual's personal needs.
