Appropriate experience in patient administration on Clinicom, HECTIS or any other patient registration system. |
|
|
Assessment of patients according to the means test when admitting patients, update patient information and ensure availability of patient folders. Responsible for sound cash management for revenue control which includes receipt of money, issue of accounts, receipt and safekeeping of money. Responsible for handling patient enquiries. Open and maintain patient folders and loan of patient folders to relevant departments on the Clinicom system. Filing of patient folders and documents on a daily basis. Record keeping, trace old folders, compile new folders, archive and destruction of folders. |

Good communication skills (verbal and written). Computer literacy. Appropriate knowledge of Hospital Fees Memorandum 18. |

Required to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and night shift. Required to work overtime on short notice. Must be willing to rotate and/or relief personnel. |

Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics or Accountancy as a passed subject or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competences that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KRA’s) of the post. |

Remuneration:
|
R 228 321 - R 268 950 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
