Experience:
Appropriate switchboard experience. CCTV experience. Knowledge of Linc Messenger Service (SMS).
 
Competencies (knowledge/ skills):
Computer literacy. Sound knowledge of a switchboard in a hospital environment. The ability to maintain sound interpersonal relations. Sound communication skills. Knowledge and experience of a VIOP consisting of at least 280 extensions in a hospital environment.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
General education and training certificate (GETC)/Grade 9 (Std7).

Duties (Key result areas/outputs):
Operate VOIP Telephone System. Report telephone faults. Maintain internal telephone directory. Operate Public Address System. Monitor CCTV System and report incidents to security. Send SMS messages to medical staff.
 
Inherent requirements of the job:
Shift work including weekends and public holidays. Ability to work effectively in a team. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to work independently.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 193 359 per annum - R 227 766 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
