Responsible for ensuring and maintaining of high standards of environmental cleanliness and hygiene within the wards and patient areas. Effective use, maintenance and safekeeping of supplies and equipment. Responsible for management and supervision of personnel. Responsible for management and control of ward linen, waste management, collection and distribution of food to the wards. Participate in training and development initiatives. Provision of support to management. |

The pool of applicants will be considered for other similar posts within the Chief Directorate: Metro Health Services for a period of 3 months from the date of the advert. Shortlisted Candidates will be subjected to a practical/written and oral assessment. |
|
|
Willingness to work overtime, shifts (day and night duty), including weekends and public holidays. Physically fit to lift heavy objects, push heavy food trolleys, bend down and stay on feet for long hours. |
|

Remuneration:
|
R 193 359 per annum - R 227 766 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
