Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Physiotherapist. |

|
Assess and treat patients in Trauma, Neurology, Orthopaedic, OPD, Medical, Surgical, Paediatrics wards as well as High Care /Intensive Care units associated with these wards. Provision of basic seating and/or mobility assistive devices. Be responsible for administration related to patient care as well as departmental administration requirements. Support of supervisory structures / persons including resource management and adherence to HR pre-scripts. Assist in the clinical development and guidance of students. Render a service as determined by the referral needs. |

Grade 1: None after registration with the HPCSA as a Physiotherapist in respect of RSA qualified employees. 1-year relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as a Physiotherapist in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform Community Service, as required in South Africa. Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as a Physiotherapist in respect of SA qualified employees. A Minimum of 11 years’ relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as a Physiotherapist in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform Community Service, as required in South Africa. Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years’ relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as a Physiotherapist in respect of SA qualified employees. A minimum of 21 years’ relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as a Physiotherapist in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform Community Service, as required in South Africa. |

Remuneration:
|
Grade 1: R 397 233 per annum; Grade 2: R 463 941 per annum; Grade 3: R 543 099 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
