Minimum educational qualification:
General Education and Training certificate (GETC) /Grade 9 (Std 7).

Competencies (knowledge/ skills):
Ability to read and write. Basic numerical skills with an ability to adapt tube feed recipes. Basic knowledge of nutritional products. Knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices. Basic knowledge of store keeping and stock management. Good communication skills.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in a hospital tube feed service.
 
Duties (Key result areas/outputs):
Basic stock taking, Perform basic administrative tasks as required within the department. Delivery and dispensing of tube feeds and supplements. Maintain optimal hygiene standards in the Tube Feed Room and store area. Preparation of tube feeds and oral supplements in the Tube Feed Room.

Inherent requirements of the job:
Willingness to work overtime on public holidays and weekends. Physically able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, packing, and pushing heavy trolleys.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 163 680 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
