Minimum educational requirements:
An appropriate three-year National Diploma/ Degree (NQF 6), preferably in the field of Organisational Psychology, Public Administration or Business Science.
 
Experience:
Appropriate 3 -5 years middle management experience (supervisory and management functions at an ASD level). Extensive (6 -10 years) work experience in change management.

Duties (Key result areas):
Facilitate the development and systematic review of the departmental change management strategy, policies, and practices, in close collaboration with the Department of the Premier (DotP), to ensure alignment with broader governmental objectives and best practices. Oversee and ensure the effective implementation of the departmental change management strategy and culture journey, in alignment with organisational objectives and in accordance with established policies and frameworks. Ensure the effective management of contracts with service providers responsible for the implementation of designated change management initiatives, in accordance with applicable procurement policies, service level agreements, and performance standards. Reporting, monitoring and evaluation (M&E). Plan, manage the workflows and account for the overall performance of the Sub- Directorate, including People Management and Financial Management.

Inherent requirement of the job:

Remuneration:
R 896 436 per annum A portion of the package can be structured according to the individual's personal needs.
