Minimum educational qualifications:
Certificate Financial Management N6. Certificate Human Resource Management N6. Certificate Management Assistant N6. Certificate Medical Secretary N6.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Computer literacy: Ms Office package (Ms Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Internet. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Listening skills. Ability to gather and process information.
 
Note:
INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLICANTS: No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post. Shortlisted candidates will be subjected to a practical test and/or competency assessment. The pool of applicants will be considered for vacancies within Worcester Regional Hospital for a period of 3 months from date of advert, provided that the job title, core functions, inherent requirements, and salary level are the same as those of the advertised internship programme. As directed by the Department of Public Service and Administration, applicants must note that further checks will be conducted once they are shortlisted and that their appointment is subject to positive outcomes on these checks, which include security clearance, qualification verification, criminal records and previous employment. It will be expected of shortlisted candidates to be: Available at the venue on the time and date as determined by the Department and bring along recently [not older than 6 months] certified copies of your Identity Document, driver’s license [if applicable for the post], qualification and/or proof of registration at relevant statutory body. Duties (key results areas/outputs):
The intern will be responsible for assisting the staff with general office duties including, but not limited to, research, data capturing, filing and general coordination. Render general admin support in the chosen office.
 
Inherent requirements of the job:
You must be between the ages of 18 – 35 years old. Not previously completed practical experience within government. Require 18 months practical experience to complete Diploma in any of the above fields. Must reside within the Breede Valley Municipality. It will be expected of Interns to rotate departments within the institution to gain practical work experience as required by their portfolio of evidence logbooks.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 67 677 - R 79 719 per annum
