Driver (Light Duty Vehicle)

Inherent Requirement of the job:
A valid (Code B/EB) driver’s license. A valid PDP. Will be expected to perform after hours standby duties.
 
Experience:
Appropriate driving experience.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
Basic reading, writing and numerical skills.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Communication skills. Knowledge of Transport Regulations. The ability to accept accountability and responsibility and to work independently.

Duties (Key result areas/outputs):
Transport official passengers, post, packages and equipment. Effective delivery and collection of all blood products. Maintenance PA safety and cleaning of Government Vehicles. Delivery of medication, goods and equipment within the PGWC. Routine inspection of vehicles and reporting of defects. Routine administration. Relieve duties and standby duties
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 138 486 per annum - R 163 131 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
