Inherent requirements of the job:
Ability to do physical tasks and operate heavy duty cleaning and household equipment.
 
Experience:
Appropriate working experience in cleaning services in a health-related environment.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Good interpersonal relationships. Knowledge of correct methods of handling and disposal of refuse and waste products and adherence to cleaning practices.
 
Duties (Key result areas/outputs):
Hygienic and clean environment. Effective management of domestic responsibilities. Control and supervision of linen. Utilization and maintenance of consumables. Rendering of support to supervisor. Waste management.

Note
Shortlisted candidates will be subjected to a practical test. No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post. The pool of applications will be considered for vacancies within the Matzikama Sub-district, for a period of three months from the date of the advert, provided that the job title, core functions, inherent requirements, and salary level are the same as those of the advertised post.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 138 486 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
