Candidates who are not in possession of the stipulated registration requirements, may also apply. Registration with a professional council:
Current registration with the SANC as Enrolled Nurse.

Experience:
Grade 1: None. Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years’ appropriate/recognisable nursing experience after registration with the SANC as Enrolled Nurse. Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years’ appropriate/recognisable nursing experience after registration with the SANC as Enrolled Nurse.

Duties (Key result areas/outputs):
Provide basic clinical nursing care under the supervision of a Professional Nurse. Development and implementation of basic patient care. Effective utilization of physical and financial resources. Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and self-development. Commitment to, and engagement with, the Western Cape DoH & Wellness values, and a people centered approach to care. Leadership and good governance.

Minimum educational qualifications:
Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as an Enrolled Nurse

Inherent requirements of the job:
Willingness to work shifts, night duty and public holidays. Annual receipt and licence to practice. Willingness to rotate within the hospital as per operational requirements.




Remuneration:
Grade 1: R 220 614 - R 250 500 per annum, Grade 2: R 262 287 - R 298 932 per annum, Grade 3: R 306 798 - R 382 107 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
