Senior Administrative Officer: Information Management

Minimum educational qualifications:
Appropriate 3-year National Diploma/Degree.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in Information Management across Health service delivery platforms. Appropriate supervisory experience.

Note:
Only officials within the Provincial Government: Western Cape will be considered for this post. Applicants may be subject to a practical assessment or test as part of the selection process.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Presentation, report writing, technical and training. National and Provincial Information systems and databases. Project management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Business Process Management. Numerical, organisational, analytical thinking and computer literacy (Advanced): Microsoft office.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Strategic and operational management of information management and monitoring & evaluation. Ensure data quality, audit readiness and compliance with applicable information management circulars, policies and standard operating procedures. Project management regarding Information Communication and Technology (ICT) and business process management. Perform functions relating to office management. Perform applicable human resource management functions, ensuring effective management of human resources and the development thereof. Conduct analysis, compile reports / presentations and provide feedback / training.
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence. Willingness to travel. Willingness to perform overtime duties when required.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 316791 - R 373167 Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
