Primary Health Care Administrative Support Officer

Experience:
Appropriate experience.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge and skilled in BAS/Logis and or computerised accounting and logistic systems. Knowledge and skilled in PFMA, Public Service Regulations, and Labour Relations policies and guidelines. Excellent communication written and verbal communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Good leadership, decision making, change management, goal driven and service orientated skills. Collaborative leadership with various stakeholders, sectors and disciplines.

Note:

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Provide administrative and management support to the Facility Manager and designated surrounding CDC’s. Manage the procurement of goods and services, including asset management, contract management, outsourced services eg, security, cleaning, transport, telecommunications services etc. Manage infrastructure, IT equipment, assets and minor projects, eg registry hygiene projects. Oversee and manager information systems and processes. Effective management and supervision of staff. Effective Human Resource functions of Support Services section and provide support to facility Manager. Sound Labour Relation and Change management. Render financial management and support including budget control and financial compliance. Manage and coordinate transport and ensure effective and efficient fleet services.
 
Minimum educational qualifications:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent) plus appropriate National Certificate, NQF 5.
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence. Willingness to work shifts and weekend duties.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 316 791 - R 373 167 Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
