Community Liaison Officer

Experience:
Appropriate experience with community development, project management or NPO sector.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
Appropriate three- year National Diploma or Degree.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Good written and verbal communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Good coordination skills, project management skills, training skills and computer literacy. Ability to work both as part of a team and independently. Good communication and presentation skills.

Duties (key results areas/outputs):
Overall coordination and monitoring of the on-going activities within communities and community structures within the Cape Winelands district. Facilitate community dialogues. Consolidate and prepare reports. Support and assist with establishing and implementation of clinic committees. Engaging with all relevant stakeholders to ensure the realisation of Western Cape Government Health`s Vision and Mission regarding community involvement and participation.
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Valid (Code B/EB) drivers licence and willingness to travel.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 316 791- R 373 167 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
