Chief Registry Clerk

Experience:
Appropriate experience in registry, filing and relevant systems.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Ensure that all Mail and Postal Services are dealt with promptly. Ensure the maintenance of all registers in Registry. Ensure that all transactions comply with legislative requirements. Assist institutions within the Chief Directorate with related queries, provide guidance and identify shortcomings within institutions and provide the necessary support. Supervise, Identify and provide training to MHS Institutions when required. Ensure that all Human Resource Management related issues for the section is dealt with in an effective and efficient manner. Perform relief duties on an ad-hoc basis in Support Services and rendering of administrative duties. Effective and efficient management of the Registry Section according to Policy.
 
Competencies (knowledge and skills):
Good management and supervisory skills. Good written and verbal communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Computer literacy (MS Word and Excel, PowerPoint). Good leadership abilities. Appropriate knowledge of Registry Procedures and relevant systems.

Remuneration:
242 475-285 630 Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
