Administrative Officer: Support Services

Experience:
Appropriate experience in the procedures and prescripts in Government Transport.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Coordinate and supervise the operations of the Transport section and its personnel. Effective control and efficient operating of Linen Bank. Management of the grounds and the cleaning service. Ensure effective management of Switchboard, Reception, Registry and Crèche. Perform general supervision and development of Support Services personnel and support to supervisor.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Good computer (MS Word and Excel), numeracy and report writing skills. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and in a team context. Proficient (verbal and written) in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Good communication, planning and supervisory skills.

Minimum educational qualifications:
Senior Certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent).
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Valid (Code B/EB) drivers licence.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 257 508- R 303 339 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
