Personnel Officer
  Employment Type: Permanent

   Directorate: People Practices and Administration
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Administration of HR practices for Head Office pertaining to appointments (Permanent and Contract), transfers, salary deductions and allowances related to Personnel and Salary Administration. PERSAL functions related to Personnel and Salary Administration. Administer quarterly reports and general personnel administration practices. Handle telephone and written enquiries.
 
Experience:
Appropriate Salary Administration (HR) experience.
 
Note:
Employees with experience in Conditions of Service will also be considered for this post. Only officials within the Provincial Government: Western Cape will be considered for this post.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Knowledge of PERSAL and MS Outlook. Computer Literacy (MS Office Package). Sound knowledge regarding related matters to the post.

Requirements
Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 173 703 - R 204 612 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
