Chief Food Services Manager

Note:
Appropriate 3-year National Diploma/Degree.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in the hospital Food Services environment. Appropriate management and supervisory experience.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Knowledge of hygiene and safety procedures in an industrial Food Service Unit. The ability to create spreadsheets and presentations on Microsoft computer programmes. Knowledge and skills with regard to the operation of an industrial Food Service Unit. Proficient in at least two of the three official languages in the Western Cape.

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Plan and develop the strategic management of the Food Services Unit. Manage an operational Food Service Unit. Manage risks in Food Service Unit. Manage Human Resources. Manage Finances.
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays. Willingness to be on standby.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 316 791 - R 373 167 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
