A minimum of 7 years appropriate/recognisable experience in nursing after registration as Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing. |

Basic R425 qualification (i.e. degree/diploma in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as Professional Nurse. |

Current registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse. |
|
|
Excellent (verbal and written) communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Ability to function independently as well as a multi-disciplinary team and make decisions. Knowledge and insight of legislation and policies, relevant to current nursing practice within the Public Sector. |

Responsible for the co -ordination and delivery of quality care within the relevant department. Ensure clinical nursing practise by nursing team in accordance with the scope of practice and nursing standards. Staff management and efficiently perform administration functions and participate in nursing research/development. Ensure quality patient care through the setting of standards, implementation and monitoring thereof. Provide effective support, leadership, direction and management of human resources. Manage financial resources. |

Remuneration:
|
R 444 276 - R 500 031 (PN–B3) per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
