Administration Clerk: Supply Chain Management

Experience:
Appropriate experience of Supply Chain Management and in a LOGIS environment. Working experience of the LOGIS, WINRDM and EPS (Electronic Procurement System).
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Good verbal and written communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Computer literacy (MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook (e-mail). Knowledge of the AOS, PFMA, Finance Instructions, Provincial Treasury Instructions and National Treasury Regulations.

Note:
Only officials within the Provincial Government: Western Cape will be considered for this post. Shortlisted candidates may be subjected to a practical test.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Responsible for demand and acquisition management functions. Perform duties related to EPS processes and compliance. Prepare bidding templates and relevant documentation to present at Quotation Evaluation Committee. Regular follow up of orders and feedback to end users. Perform various tasks related to procurement processes and compliance including assisting with warehouse and asset management. Perform and assist with Interim and Annual Financial statement reporting and financial year end tasks.
 
Minimum educational qualification:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KPA's) of the post.
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Valid (Code B/EB) Driver’s licence
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 173703 - R 204612 Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
