Administration Clerk: Health Impact Assessment (One-year Contract)

Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Excellent computer literacy skills and ability to analyse reports and data. Ability to cope with a high work volume. Good interpersonal relations and organisational skills as well as ability to deal with information in a confidential manner.
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience on the National Health Research Database (NHRD).

Duties (key results areas/outputs):
Render administrative support to the Sub-Directorate Health Research and Directorate: Health Impact Assessment. Liaise with internal and external role-players with regards to research applications/proposals. Monitors and updates NHRD database. Assist with logistical arrangements of meetings. Maintain effective filing systems. Assist with ordering and maintaining of stock levels, equipment and assets.
 
Requirements:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
 
Inherent Requirements of the Job:
Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
152862-180063 Monthly salary plus 37% in lieu of service benefits.
