| Advance computer knowledge would be advantageous. Technical label printer knowledge would be advantageous. Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Troubleshooting and problem solving in computer hardware and Health applications. Good organisation and planning skills and the ability to function independently as well as in a team. Good understanding of Electronic waste policies and disposal procedure for the WCDOH. Knowledge and experience in Change Management, Asset management and system application rollout experience recommended. Ability to implement new projects from start to end. Ability to rebuild ICT hardware. Technical knowledge in the following health applications (PHCIS, CLINICOM, JAC, TRACKCARE, eCCR, HECTIS, BMC). Advance ICT hardware and software knowledge. Ability to work in agile environment. Ability to work in a team. |

| Appropriate experience in Health Information systems and Information Technology. Appropriate experience in Health systems implementation and support. Appropriate experience in training systems to end users. Appropriate experience in electronic waste management. |

| Facilitating the e-Waste project throughout the entire Western Cape. Implementation and support of all provincial mandated e-Health systems. End user training in different systems as required. Ability to draw up training material including training videos. Compilation of training registers. Assist with Infrastructure Audits and Procurement. Effective control and maintenance of assets and ICT equipment. On-site, telephonic and virtual support to end user on health applications and end user equipment. Incident reporting to management in timeous manner. Update, management and closure of calls logged. Assisting with drafting SOP’s, proposals and policies for various projects. Refurbish/ Fix Printers and Computers where needed. Setting up hardware at facility level. Perform routine administrative duties when required. |

R 257 508 - R 303 339 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
