Administrative Officer: Support Services

   Emergency Medical Services, College of Emergency Care, Tygerberg Hospital
 
Experience:
Appropriate relevant experience in administration.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Effective management of the administration component at the College. Compile and co-ordinate information for Training Reports. Drafting of general circulars for College and EMS staff. Assist with implementing and monitoring of appropriate quality control process in the College Supply Chain Management function. Assist with monitoring and controlling of College expenditure. Manage various projects related to EMS training and education.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Knowledge of HEI or HPCSA policies and regulations related to EMS training. Report-writing and presentation skills. Good interpersonal and leadership skills. Appropriate computer experience in MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) in at least two official languages of the Western Cape.

Minimum educational qualification:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Valid (Code B/EB) drivers licence. Willingness to travel and work extra hours.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 257 508 - R 303 339 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
