| Develop and review Inventory Management policy and standard operating procedures. Ensure inventory management policies and procedures compliance at District/Institutional level. Provide on and off-site support to end users. Monitoring of LOGIS, JAC and Syspro inventory registers. Monitoring of the departmental warehouse management using Balance Score Card and other available tools. Assist with financial procedures and reporting for Monthly, Annual and Interim Financial Statements. Handle Audit queries regarding inventory management. Manage the implementation of SCM systems related to inventory management projects. Maintenance of the departmental inventory register. Manage the implementation of SCM systems related to Inventory management. Monthly inventory reporting. Ensure departmental bi-annual inventory counts. |

| Sound knowledge of Inventory Management. Sound knowledge of Warehouse Management. Sound knowledge of Inventory Management and reporting. Knowledge of and exposure to the PFMA, Treasury Regulations and relevant Instructions. Good interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills, including numeracy and accuracy skills. High level of computer literacy, including advanced application on LOGIS, JAC, MEDSAS, MS Excel. Ability to train people in inventory management.
