Administration Clerk: Support (Pharmacy)

Experience:
Appropriate general administration clerk experience in a hospital environment.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
General office administration, cross-referencing and filing skills. All administrative work completed timeously and up to date. Telephone answered and messages taken. Administration of office equipment repairs, condemning and of new equipment. Manage access control door, scanners and locker keys. All statistics are kept and processed monthly. All rosters are available each month in time and posted on notice boards. All filing is done neatly and up to date. Office equipment is in a working order, regularly serviced and has sufficient paper, ink, etc. All leave forms, overtime, on-call, agency and locum forms are completed and processed. General offfice management and assisting stores clerk as needed.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Good communication skills (written and verbal) in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Computer literate (i.e. Ms Excel and Word) Ms Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint and E-mail skills. Telephone etiquette, facsimile and paging skills. Management of diary and meeting skills. Management of leave application forms skills. Human Relation matters, Human Resource. Statistical skills. General office administration, cross-referencing and filing skills.

Remuneration:
R 173 703 - R 204 612 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
