| Appropriate experience in a Finance environment. Appropriate experience in LOGIS and/or BAS. |

| Control, verify, capture journals and report on asset and liability accounts. Compile, verify and process payments on BAS and LOGIS and ensure payments are processed within 30 days of receipt of invoice and adequate batch control. Control, verify and follow up on debt account according to prescripts. Handling of petty cash. Complete monthly financial reports and provide inputs to the Annual and Interim Financial Statements. Support to supervisor. |

| Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KPA's) of the post. |

| Sound knowledge of the PFMA, Finance Instructions, Provincial Treasury Instructions and National Treasury Regulations. Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and Outlook). Good verbal and written communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. |

Remuneration:

R 173 703 - R 204 612 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
