| Computer literacy Ms Word, Excel and Outlook. Good communication and interpersonal skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Ability to work under pressure and a strong sense of confidentiality. Ability to accept accountability, responsibility, work independently and within a group. Knowledge of the Hospital Fees Memorandum 18, UPFS, HIS Clinicom, and Finance Instructions. |

| In-patient and out-patient administration functions according to PGWC policies and procedures. Clinicom, Billing and other PGWC system computer duties. Various Reception tasks or duties assigned to you by immediate Supervisor as required. Responsible for handling and receiving of public money, Cash Collection and Banking of State Money. Admission, transfer and discharge of Inpatients and Outpatients as per PGWC. Hospital Fees policies and procedures including Attending to patient queries (verbal and written). Debiting of Charge Entries to invoices as per UPFS and PGWC billing procedures including ICD10 capturing. Provide admin and secretarial support services to the department. Triage emailed patient referrals to relevant units. Collate and ensure timeous submissions of statistics data. |
