| |

| Take leadership in the pharmacy to establish a value driven pharmacy service and implement policies and guidelines in keeping with Batho Pele, SAPC and National Drug policy and National and Provincial treatment guidelines. Ensure adherence to minimum standards for dispensing as well as accessibility to medication and pharmaceutical care to patients. Manage, assess and monitor compliance with regards to Good Pharmacy Practice, Ideal Clinic and National Core Standards. Effective monitoring of pharmaceutical expenditure, implementation and evaluation of budgetary control measures. Human Resource Management which includes tutoring of Pharmacists Assistants as well as development of pharmacy staff. Maintain and improve the quality of patient care as a member of the multi-disciplinary team within the primary healthcare setting. |

| Valid (Code B/EB) drivers licence. To be registered as Responsible Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) when appointed. Preparedness to be registered as a tutor with the South African Pharmacy Council. |

Grade 1: R 821 205 -R 871 590 per annum A portion of the package can be structured according to the individual's personal needs.
