| Able to work and maintain concentration in a noisy and busy environment unhindered. Be physically fit to walk and stand throughout the day as well as lifting and moving of patients. |

| Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Therapy Radiographer. |

| Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of workflows within a radiotherapy department Computer literate (Word / Excel / PowerPoint). Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. Sufficient knowledge and ability to make a substantial contribution to service provision, student-training and research in the Division of Radiation Oncology. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues verbally, telephonically and via email. Be able to remain focused on tasks and be able to multitask effectively. |

| Grade 1: None after registration with the HPCSA as a Therapy Radiographer. Grade 2: Minimum of 10 years relevant experience after registration with HPCSA as a Therapy Radiographer. Grade 3: Minimum of 20 years relevant experience after registration with HPCSA as a Therapy Radiographer. |

| Patients are effectively and efficiently cared for while in the Department. Accurate preparation and planning of patients for treatment. Perform quality assurance procedures and ensure optimal use and care of equipment. Keep accurate records. Render administrative and information support to Unit Manager. Clinical training of students. Participate in continuing professional development activities. Perform radiotherapy treatment and planning processes according to clinicians instructions. |

Remuneration:

Grade 1: R 247 314 (5/8th )- R 282 777 per annum, Grade 2: R 291 324 (5/8th)- R 333 099 per annum, Grade 3: R 343 167 (5/8th)- R 369 693 per annum Annual salary plus 37% in lieu of service benefits.
