Administration Clerk: Support (Reception)

Experience:
Appropriate administrative reception experience.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Basic knowledge and experience in planning, financial and procurement process. Good record keeping, planning and organising knowledge/skills. Knowledge of record keeping procedure. The ability to accept accountability and responsibility and to work independently. Sound ability knowledge and skill to use information technology software, audio-visual and office equipment

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Office and financial administration. Plan and organise meetings, agendas and take minutes. Type general correspondence and keep a well-managed filing system. General administration duties, typing of quarterly reports, complete monthly and quarterly statistics and analyse information. Record keeping, filing and retrieving, tracing of files. Collate laundry statistics and reconcile department records. Switchboard operating. Maintain laundry appointments, schedule appointments for staff/customers. Provide general support service to supervisor and staff.
 
Note:
Only officials within the Provincial Government: Western Cape will be considered for this post.
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Perform administration relief duties where required.
 
Requirements
Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 173 703 - R 204 612 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
