Senior Administrative Officer: Information Management

Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Advanced computer literacy. Thorough working knowledge of all relevant legislation, policies and prescripts applicable to Health Information Management. Insight into bio-statistical and epidemiological information. Good interpersonal and leadership skills.

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Ensuring unit is a knowledge repository for the district. Utilizing data repository for district management. Ensuring data Integrity and quality data. Support and empowerment of sub district Information Management units. Ensuring Information Management compliance in the context of the Auditor-General inspections. Supervision of staff.
 
Experience:
Extensive experience in Health Information Management and HAST Program (e.g TIER.net, ETR.net).
 
Note:
Only officials within the Provincial Government: Western Cape will be considered for this post. As the posts were previously advertised and has been subjected to the full recruitment process, the relaxation of the qualification applicable to these posts is a once off measure.
 
Requirement:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Valid (Code B/EB) drivers licence. Prepared to travel in the district and province.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 316 791 - R 373 167 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
