| Appropriate experience and in-depth knowledge in the field of People Management in the Public Service with the emphasis on all aspects of people administration. |

| Good verbal and written communication skills to ensure effective presentation of policies as well as report writing. Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Practical computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and the PERSAL system. Sound knowledge of the Public Service Act, Public Service Regulations, and Collective Agreements regarding the above mentioned. |

| Perform relief function at in the absence of People Management Staff. Assist People Management with identified functions: backlogs, for OSD, service terminations, leave administration, etc. Ensure rectifications of Auditor-General Reports, Internal Auditors reports (HRAAP) as well as analysis of monthly HR CMI Compliance reports in line with People Management Legislation, policies, practices and conditions of service and give guidance/advice to line managers. Identify training needs, implement programs for training of staff as well as conduct and facilitate formal functional training regarding the correct application of Human Resource Legislation, policies, practices and conditions of service. Informal training of newly appointed employees in all aspects of People Management. Sample testing of People Management Audits on Audit Action Plan to verify correct reporting. Perform client services function e.g. helpdesk regarding Conditions of Service. Provide efficient support to manager during Ad Hoc investigations, inputs towards policies, etc. applicable to people administration. |

Remuneration:

R 257 508 - R 303 339 per annum Annual salary plus 37% in lieu of service benefits.
