Administration Clerk: Wards/Admissions (3 posts)

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Accurate patient assessments and admissions on Clinicom system. Complete patient discharge documentation and system discharges. Ensure timeous and accurate collection and submission of statistics. File patient clinical notes and laboratory results in folders. Monitor and order inventory. Attend to patient queries (verbal and written).
 
Experience:
Appropriate experience in Patient Administration in a hospital and/ or Community Health Centre environment.
 
Note:
Candidates may be subject to a practical test. Only applicants within the Provincial Government: Western Cape will be considered for this posts.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Computer literacy (MS Word and Excel). Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.

Minimum educational qualification:
Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
 
Inherent requirement of the job:
Willingness to work shifts (night duty, weekends and public holidays) and rotate between departments.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 173 703- R 204 612 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
