Senior Administrative Officer: Human Resource Management (Performance Management)

Experience:
Appropriate experience in performance management.
 
Requirements
Appropriate three-year National Diploma or Degree.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Ensure timeous and effective implementation and application of Staff Performance Management Systems (SPMS) process for all categories of staff. Administer the accurate and timeous implementation of Grade Progression and Pay Progression. Conduct training and audits in respect of relevant policies, procedures, prescripts with regard to Performance agreements, grade progression and pay progression. Administer the RWOEE system (permission to perform additional work outside the Public Service). Monitoring of poor performance and performance improvement plans. Supervise sub-ordinates. Assist as HR advisor during shortlisting and interviews.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Extensive knowledge of HR Policies, procedures, practises relevant to performance management, grade progression and pay progression. Computer literate. Ability to work in a team and solve problems.

Remuneration:
R 316 791 - R 373 167 Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
