Administrative Officer: Support (One-year contract - renewable)

Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Advanced computer proficiency (MS Office 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint). Ability to communicate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Knowledge of reporting systems and data sharing systems - Project Portfolio Office (PPO) would be advantageous. Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Planning, organising and project management skills. Ability to work and provide outcomes timeously. Ability to function individually and as part of a team. Experience with or knowledge of NEC3 form of Contracts would be advantageous.
 
Experience:
Appropriate knowledge and administrative experience in Finance, Contract Management or Project Data Management.

Note:

Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Project Data Management including updating project information on PPO and managing electronic shared databases. Administration of Project and Contract Information including updating of spreadsheets, drafting documentation, filing, preparation of meeting minutes and Contractor liaison. Document Management including maintaining electronic and hard copies of relevant information. Logistics Management including meeting and general arrangements. Financial Information Management activities including keeping invoice registers, payment records and issuing Disbursement reports.
 
Requirements
Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Result Areas (KRA’s) of the post.
 
Inherent requirements of the job:
Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 257 508 per annum - R 303 339 per annum Annual salary plus 37% in lieu of service benefits.
