| Appropriate 3-year National Diploma/Degree in Health and Safety management/Environmental Health or equivalent. |

| Ensure WCGH facilities comply with relevant Occupational Health and Safety and Health Care Waste Management requirements, legislation, codes of practice, standards and norms. Investigate, report on and assist with resolving Occupational Health and Safety and Health Care Waste Management incidents at facilities. Assist with and facilitate Occupational Health and Safety and Health Care Waste Management training at WCGH facilities. Assist with promoting Occupational Health and Safety and Health Care Waste Management awareness at WCGH facilities. Maintain a Health Care Waste Management database and develop reports. Assist with the development of policies, standard operating procedures, norms and standards. Conducting site visits and inspections. Compilation of reports. Collating information and maintaining databases. |

R 316 791 per annum - R 373 167 per annum Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
