Administration Clerk: Finance/Admin (Hospital Fees)

Experience:
Appropriate practical experience in patient administration. Appropraite experience in Clinicom/ ECM. Appropriate administrative experience within a hospital patient administration environment.
 
Duties (key result areas/outputs):
Check patient accounts on Clinicom. Search for patient records on ECM. Liaise with Medical Aid Schemes to verify membership and available benefits. Ensure that invoices have been coded correctly. Draw and analyse Global Reports. Assist with EDI rejections. Completion of Charge Sheets for billing of H2&H3. Responding to queries, filing of documentation.
 
Competencies (knowledge/skills):
Computer literacy in Microsoft package (Word, Excel and Outlook). Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape. Ability to execute duties accurately and thoroughly.

Requirements
Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accounting as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KPA’S) of the post.
 
Note:
Shortlisted candidates may be subjected to a competency test on the day of interview. Only applicants within the Provincial Government: Western Cape will be considered for this post.
 
 
 
 
Remuneration:
R 173 703- R 204 612 Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
